Locus Recruiting is hiring for a Permanent AMI Engineer/Specialist. 

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000

Benefit: Medical, Dental, PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401k.

Will also help with relocation package if needed.

This position will provide support to members across multiple disciplines on the companys technology transformation during a multiyear project.

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is a secure communication network system that involves installation of new technology and new electric, gas and water meters. These meters allow for remote two-way communication capability which improves our operational efficiencies that results in customer savings; modernization of AUs power grid to become more proactive and improve reliability; gives customers access to tools to better manage their consumption use and stay on budget.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for AMI System.

This individual would resolve technical and operational issues related to E, W, G AMI metering, load management

equipment, analyzing, researching and investigating service voltage issues.

Technician works with Meter Data Management (MDM), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Customer

Information System (CIS) data to create and provide reports and analyses for use in improving efficiency in operations.

Technician works with SCADA (OSI) and SEL RTAC applications to provide reports and develop alarm and display enhancements for use in improving efficiency in operations.

Software or database administration is preferred.

Knowledge of the National Information Services Cooperative (NISC) software and the ability to make inquires for a variety of information

Must have the ability to quickly adjust to a variety of changing software applications.

Associates or Bachelors degree in related technical field

Three years related experience is desirable in software applications and communication; or an equivalence of experience and education.

Possess a current and valid drivers license.
