Director of Sales

Job Description:

The Director of Sales will analyze our customers’ specific needs, requirements, and processes to create long lasting business relationships. A successful candidate will also be able to lead the implementation and customization of our software applications.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Drive strategic architecture implementations and guide our customers in their utilization of custom software solutions

·       Own responsibility for the overall growth and improvement of our existing customer partnerships and contribute innovative methods to acquire new partnerships

·       Build relationships with key customers and stakeholders by understanding business needs and providing support throughout the entire sales lifecycle

·       Become an expert on technical services portfolio and be able to demonstrate the benefits

·       Leverage your knowledge of modern cloud and software practices in a fast-paced, technology sales environment

 

Requirements:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher

·       5+ years of experience in IT Consulting, Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, and/or related role in technology sales

·       Experience with selling custom software applications

·       Well-versed in Agile development methodology

·       Demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with customer stakeholders including Directors, VP’s, and C-Level

·       Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-level accounts

·       Strong knowledge of current trends in the technology industry and their impact on businesses

·       Understanding of modern IT methodologies such as software development, architecture, DevOps, Azure, etc.

·       Able to travel as needed (minimal)
